EverKey Program To Install Rockey4 Device Drivers v6.2.6

Release Date: March 8, 2011
Last Revised: November 10, 2014

DESCRIPTION

The Rockey4.exe program installs the newest Rockey4 Device
Drivers so EverKey programs can access Rockey4 Keys.

These drivers support all EverKey Version 6 programs. They also
allow the Kechk32.dll and Renew32.exe programs from Version 2 to
be used on all 32-bit and 64-bit Editions of Windows 2000, XP,
Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Server.

These new drivers DO NOT support the Version 2 releases of
Kebuild.exe and Keshow.exe. These Version 2 programs must use
the older Rockey4 device drivers installed by Azsetup.exe.

This release supports "silent install" so you can suppress all
    Az-Tech screens and logos.

You may freely redistribute these drivers to your Users.

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS FOR UPGRADING YOUR PRODUCT DRIVERS

     1. On the Master Image of your Product, locate the Azsetup.exe
or AzRockey.exe file and replace it with this new
         Rockey4.exe file.

     2. Be sure that your Product is using the latest Version of the
KeyChk DLL and Renew program. You can download both these
         programs from Az-Tech.com.

To determine the version of your existing program, right-
click on the file and select Properties. When the
"Properties" window appears, select the "Details" or
"Version" tab. The "File Version" property shows the
         actual version of the program.

     3. If you are using Renew32.exe from Version 2, you will also
need the Ibfs32.dll file. You can ensure that this file
is always available by copying it into the same folder
with Renew32.exe. Ibfs32.dll can be downloaded from
         Az-Tech.com.

     4. Have your Customer install your protected Product FIRST
and run Rockey4.exe LAST. Be sure to have your Customer
install in this order because Rockey4.exe will overwrite
any older drivers with the newest Rockey4 drivers.

   MISC NOTES:

     1. Windows Administrator rights are required to install Device
Drivers. This means that your Customer will have to be
logged-in as an Administrator or enter the Adminisrator
         Password when running Rockey4.exe.

     2. When upgrading, there is no need to first uninstall the
older version of Azsetup.exe or AzRockey.exe.

     3. This setup program installs Device Drivers, so it is always
a good idea to reboot the Windows system before trying to
         access a Rockey4 device.

     4. You can do a "Silent Install" by running Rockey4.exe with
         a command-line parameter of "/S", e.g. "rockey4.exe /S".
Of course, this could be done from a parent program,
         batch file or script.

During a Silent Install, all prompts and dialogs are not
displayed unless a catastrophic error is encountered.
