Keeping Repeated Data vs. Overwriting Data

When adding new steps in SoundCheck, there might be times where the step outputs data that has the same name as existing memory list items. This could happen when looping steps in a sequence, or when you have two steps that output the same measurement. By default, all SoundCheck steps will overwrite previously measured data in the memory list if they have the same name. For example, if I’m trying to analyze the fundamental of two different waveforms, only one Fundamental curve is visible in the memory list by default.

This can be changed by right clicking on the step in the Sequence Editor and selecting “Configure Step”.

Here, you can change the step to keep repeated data. This can even be set to the default for all new steps.

Instead of overwriting the curve Fundamental, a brand new curve will now appear in the memory list.
