Is There a Way to Use the Windows Login Name as the 'Operator' in SoundCheck So That It Can Be Stored With Data?

Yes, we have generated a Custom step that does exactly that, attached below.

There are two VIs that need to be placed in the

C:\SoundCheck x.x\System\Custom VIs\ folder

and a step file that needs to be copied into the

C:\SoundCheck x.x\Steps\Custom\ folder

The step will then appear in the sequence editor under the Custom category and can be added to a sequence.

A typical use case will be for engineering systems that are shared by multiple users, each with their own unique Windows login. Populating the Operator field with the login ID will allow data generated from autosave and print steps to be tagged with this information and kept separate from one user to another.
