How Do I Calibrate/Verify the Performance of My Listen Audio Interface?

All of the audio interfaces sold by Listen are calibrated prior to shipment.  A calibration sheet is provided with each device and the values on this sheet can be entered into System Hardware for the most accurate performance or default hardware values can be loaded using the System Hardware's Import command.

Once the interface has been installed and configured, performance can be verified using the Self Test sequence (SoundCheck > Sequences > Calibration > Self Test).  Self test is designed for 2 channel interfaces. Multichannel self-test sequences are available for download on the Listen website.

Should the need arise for field calibration, calibration can be run from the System Hardware editor.  See the Hardware Configuration chapter in the SoundCheck User Manual for details on calibrating your audio interface.
