Use the Setup Menu to Access Sequence Steps Grouped by Type

When editing large sequences, searching through the sequence editor to find a specific step can be time consuming.  Typically, the Setup menu is used to access Hardware and Calibration. However, it can also be used to quickly access all of the steps in your open sequence, grouped by step type.

In this example, we are editing the Linear X Turntable sequence (41 steps) and we want to edit one of the limits steps. Rather than searching through the Sequence Editor, we can click Setup > Limits and a dialog containing all the sequence’s Limits steps will open.

We can then double click on the limit of interest (or highlight it and click OK) to edit its properties.

Note that keyboard shortcuts are also available for every step type and that grayed out items in the Setup menu indicate that step type is not present in the sequence.
