Text flipping/mirroring and grayed out SoundCheck sequences on macOS

Text flipping/mirroring issue with SoundCheck

With OS updates, we have noticed that some customers using SoundCheck on macOS have run into issues where SoundCheck windows/text was mirrored/flipped. Usually this issue is resolved by closing and reopening SoundCheck, but in some cases it has been reported that even re-starting the computer did not resolve the issue.

Sequences unselectable / grayed out on macOS

With new OS updates, SoundCheck sequences with file path (.sqc) were not automatically recognized while opening sequences and hence they were grayed out during File > Open.

Fix for both issues

The new LabVIEW runtime version 2023 Q3 corrects both issues. This can be directly downloaded from the link below.

Download LabVIEW Q3 2023 runtime

You may see a warning that the runtime may not be compatible with macOS Sonoma and above. Click yes to proceed with installation.

Note : Please ensure that you install the 2023 Q3 runtime linked above, not the more recent 2025 Q3 as that will not fix the issues.
